The vendor has provided the following:
Meet 'Bruce', a lovingly restored, genuine Australian-built Ute
This particular example is the Mark II model and left the Zetland, New South Wales BMC plant in December 1969
It was originally shipped to New Zealand, where it remained for 29 years before being restored and shipped to the UK in 1998
The car comes with some of the original documents from New Zealand, which confirm authenticity and give some clues to its history
It had a full professional respray in 2020 and has not been used since 2021 due to a bereavement
It's been housed in a heated garage for the past 10 years and looked after with loving care
It's been shown at many classic car shows and always attracts a lot of attention as it is only 1 of 4 examples in the UK that is roadworthy
We will be sad to see him go, as he has been part of our family for so long, but we feel it is the right time to let someone else take the wheel and enjoy him as much as we do
