Make: AUSTIN Model: A40 DEVON Registration: UMD 46 Engine Size (cc): 1200 Year of Manufacture: 1949 Date First Registered: 09/05/1949 Current V5: YES Location: PICKERING You can view from: Wednesday 4 March 2026 - Tuesday 10 March 2026 Current Speedometer Reading: 14,659
Current V5 present. Paperwork includes printed photographs of the vehicle, V11 tax reminders, a Service Manual, and invoices.
Very original except for the new CD radio and some extra switches on the dashboard
It has an electronic ignition
This car was off the road since the 1960s (history sketchy until 2012)
It was fully restored in 2013/2014 in Leigh on Sea, where I bought it from a retired mechanic/electrician, who had restored and painted it, and his wife had re-uppolstered
It was 17th January 2015, and I drove back 300 miles to Yarm (the last 10 miles in a blizzard)
It drove well with no major issues
The propshaft was rebalanced first thing after arriving home
The car has been to fifty shows since 2015, including Newby Hall and Ripon race course, several times
Enjoyable little car and will be sadly missed
The spare parts included in the boot of the car are as follows
