Probably the first ‘estate’ car ever made, it was advertised as being ‘two cars in one, a van for the butcher/baker during the week and comfortable family transport at the weekend. The same body was also used for the limousine version
This car is left-hand drive, has a three-speed gearbox, cable brakes, and a transmission handbrake
Finished in black over royal blue with a fine gold pinstripe
The engine is a four-cylinder, side valve, approximately 1600cc
I bought the car about 5 years ago, and since then it has undergone a total restoration, body off, chassis blasted and epoxy painted, re-wired with cotton braided cable incorporating a discrete fuse box for safety
Brakes, radiator core, clutch, tyres are new, steering box, dynamo are re-built. Engine inspected, found to be in very good condition, new piston rings fitted
All lights except the yellow headlights are LED
The interior has new headlining, and the upholstery fabric is NOS original pattern material
