This pedal plane was bought by the Bangers & Cash: Restoring Classics team in October 2022. They write:
When we bought this American style Corsair pedal plane in October it was in dire need of some TLC. Chipped paint, ripped leather and some unsafe sharp edges. We sent it down to Bedfordshire where it has been in the very safe hands of a pedal plane enthusiast and an incredibly experienced classic car restoration workshop. Our little aircraft has been treated to the same quality craftsmanship as any million pound motor passing through the doors at Classic Restorations. It’s had a full make-over and will be landing in the auction hall this Thursday! The pictures of the plane are from our last visit to the workshop - it is being rebuilt as you read this…
The whole restoration has been filmed for an upcoming series of Bangers & Cash: Restoring Classics.
