Current V5 present. Paperwork includes a buff logbook, an Alvis Limited car record, printed photos, Red Triangle Insurance Valuation, MOTs, Alvis Car Company maintenance record book, tax discs, previous V5s, DVLA correspondence, and invoices.

The vendor has provided the model of the vehicle to be a Alvis Charlesworth 4.3, please confirm upon your own inspection.

The highest bid at the end of the auction will be submitted to the vendor for their consideration.

We expect this vehicle to achieve in excess of £50,000

The vendor has provided the following:

  • ALVIS 1938 Speed 25 4.2 Charlesworth with files of history and links to Louis Vuitton (the leather seats have also been reupholstered by them)
  • It was the fastest production car of its time, with a proven speed of over 100mph, and was rare in 1938, as only 72 were made
  • This actual car was part of the 1938 motor show

Welcome to our October Auction!

The viewing period for this auction is Wednesday 1 October 2025 - Tuesday 7 October 2025. 

Prospective buyers are encouraged to view specific lots pre-auction and inspect paperwork if available.

The entrance fee is £5 per person during the viewing periods at our Pickering branch. 
This forms part of our annual fundraising to help local and national charities chosen by us.
 
Each auction throughout the year will witness a collection / donation.
