XJS built with XJ6 Series 1 running gear and interior trim
The car was built in the late 70’s and finished in 1980 by a long-time Jaguar restorer and enthusiast
The engine is a short block XK engine, enlarged to 3 litres, running 3.8 litre pistons and cylinder head along, with triple SU carbs mated to a 4-speed and overdrive gearbox
It was used for around 10 years and was then stored until it passed to the owner's son in 2015, who is the current owner. It then completed a full restoration, including engine rebuild, rear suspension, all new brakes and a full bare metal re-paint (There was no corrosion - the old paint had micro blistered)

This is a unique vehicle with bespoke chrome bumpers and trim
This vehicle will give the new owner a low-running-cost classic, with low fuel consumption and tax exemption
