Paperwork includes three buff logbooks, previous V5s, MOT certificates, printed MOT history, two British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificates, DVLA correspondence, letters from The Austin Healey Club Ltd, Austin Healey membership cards, printed photos of the restoration, spare parts information from Stirling Moss, and a large amount of receipts.

The vendor has provided the following:

  • MK1 Austin Healey 3000
  • Full rebuild carried out by Maurice Jennings at Croft Engineering, which was finished in 2005
  • 03395 miles done since full rebuild
  • Engine specification - lightened and balanced crank and flywheel
  • Cosworth pistons and rods
  • Kent camshaft
  • Polished and ported head, which runs on unleaded fuel
  • Dennis Welch intake manifold with triple 45 Weber's
  • Race Fuel pump
  • Dennis Welch exhaust manifold with side exit exhaust
  • Oil cooler
  • Gearbox - centre change gearbox with Sebring gears
  • Limited-slip differential
  • Suspension work carried out
  • Front discs and callipers
  • Aluminium radiator and fuel tank
  • Body work - white over blue in colour
  • Racing hard top
  • All are practically brand new tyres
  • A couple of minor paintwork issues
  • Spare parts - 2 Dennis Welch bucket seats, original rev counter and Moto-Lita steering wheel to replace the Momo racing steering wheel, which is currently fitted
  • Flared arches, which are off one of Stirling Moss's cars, with signed authority from Stirling Moss

Welcome to our September Auction!

The viewing period for this auction is Wednesday 27 August 2025 - Tuesday 2 September 2025. 

Prospective buyers are encouraged to view specific lots pre-auction and inspect paperwork if available.

The entrance fee is £5 per person during the viewing periods at our Pickering branch. 
This forms part of our annual fundraising to help local and national charities chosen by us.
 
Each auction throughout the year will witness a collection / donation.
