  • She's been in the family over 70 years and was originally bought for my Granny , Lady Barwick of Thimbleby Hall by her second husband Sir Richard Barwick. It was later inherited by my Daddy Robert and then left to me.
The car also featured in the original series of " All Creatures Great and Small " and was the character "Mrs Pumfreys" car in which she was chauffeur driven in with her little dog tricky woo. I was told that the character of Mrs Pumfrey was created with my Granny in mind as she was a local celebrity in her day. The car was originally black and white and is so in the TV show.
The car has since been used for many local weddings as my Daddy used to rent it out for a few years .
When I inherited it I spent 15k on the engine . The car was sent to Barnard Castle for this work. The engine is in mint condition .
It has been lovingly looked after by me for the last 8 years and I am incredibly sad to see it go .
