Hand-built by the most fastidious enthusiast who has successfully campaigned the car at some major events. The specification and recent history will be published shortly. Based on Ruby this stunning this stunning special will grace the most elaborate collection.

The vendor has provided the following:

A nut & bolt build by Ian Bennett in 2013 to a high standard of finish. Fitted with a modern supercharger the road legal car successfully competed in the Bert Hadley Memorial Championship & holder of class records. Built on a 1938 Ruby chassis, the car comes complete with a folding hood.
The car is now for sale and ideal for someone looking for a fast road car or a competitive sprint / hill climb car.
Engine Spec.
A race prepared short motor by Pigsty Racing. Ian fabricated the manifold & fitted the Supercharger before being returned to Pigsty to tune on their dynamometer. It produced approximately 70bhp.
A new Phoenix 1 ½” crankshaft, Saenz 4340 conrods, rear main seal conversion, oversize oil pump and jets & modified oil system. A Pigsty supercharger camshaft, lightened & balanced flywheel & clutch assembly. It is fitted to a 4 speed close ratio gearbox.
The car was taken back to Pigsty a couple of years later to have the clutch replaced & put on the dynamometer. A complete engine spec can be supplied.
