The vendor has provided the following:

• I purchased the Rover 216 Coupe Auto with the Honda Engine Model Version on 14/03/2015
• Registration Number: M234 OJM
• (Current Mileage 51,413 as per the recent M.O.T Test on 03/03/2026) As it was a very good, solid car, I set about restoring it in 2015 with the work carried out at 2 Garages, M & G Service Centre in Bradford, and Kittwhistle Garage in Dorset.

The major work, which was then carried out in 2015, is as follows:

• New Lambda Sensor

• Off-Side Front Door Card Replaced & Refurbished

Additional Work carried out by National Tyres and Autocare at their Altrincham Branch in 2015 as follows:

• New Set of 5 Genuine Rover 216 Alloy Wheels with New Centre Hub Caps and New Rover Alloy Nuts & Locking Nuts purchased from Browns & Gammon Ltd, were fitted with 5 x New Premium Good Year Tyres
• New Middle and Rear Exhaust Fitted
• New Catalytic Converter Fitted

To complete the restoration work, the Rover 216 Coupe went for a Full Respray at M.P.H Bodyworks in Dorset in September 2015 in its original colour of Nightfire Red, with Glass removed and finished off with undersealing the Chassis.

Then, in February 2016, I decided to have the Rover Front Spoiler Air Ducts replaced with Front Fog Lights by M & G Service Centre in Bradford, which were available as an optional extra at the time of its purchase when new. I included the Original Front Spoiler Air Ducts if the new owner wishes to fit them back on the car. Also, a New Battery was fitted at the same time as well by M & G Service Centre in Bradford.

Then, in mid-April 2016, the Rover 216 Coupe went into Professional Storage at Murray Scott-Nelson in Scarborough, and for the next 11 years, it was not used at all, until March 2026, when it came out of storage to be recommissioned, ready to be sold at Mathewsons Classic Car Auctions

The reason for the Sale of the Rover 216 Coupe Auto now at this moment in time is because it is a very reluctant sale, as it was not getting used at all

According to the How Many Left Website, there are only 17 216 Rover Coupe Autos with the Honda Engine Model Version Licenced and 38 on Sorn remaining in the UK as of March 2026.

The Rover 216 Coupe Auto is in excellent condition and, having just been recommissioned, is ready for the new owner to use and enjoy!!!
