The vendor has provided the following:

Scottish show car, the only one of this body style by Hooper.

The car was ordered by the Rolls Royce Dealer Clyde Automobile Company Limited of Glasgow for supply via William Gillespie & Sons of Paisley. The chassis left the factory in September 1934 and the chassis card indicates the car was displayed in the 1934 Scottish Motor Show.

Bought by its current owner in November 2003.

The car has been regular used by the current owner for pleasure and the occasional wedding and has been meticulously maintained and improved as follows:

  • New clutch fitted with heavy duty spring
  • Total engine re-build, crankshaft ground, new bearings, line bored, new cylinder block with pistons from Ristes, rockers re-bushed, and more
  • Radiator fitted with new core
  • Carburetta serviced fitted with new jet and seals
  • Water pump re-furbished

Servicing and overhauls carried out by a veteran and vintage restoration specialist.
