The vendor has provided the following:

  • 1980 MG BGT
  • 5 former keepers plus me
  • Original bill of sale and letter from the first owner, who was a local MG car club secretary and kept the car until 2012
  • Fitted with a dealer-fit sunroof at the time of first purchase
  • Original number plates from the supplying Hartwells of Oxford dealer
  • The colour is called Vermillion, more of an orange than a red!
  • Several old MOTs and invoices are in the files with the car
  • Was entered into the MG Live Concours 2013
  • Only selling as had little use in the last 2 years, and time for a change
  • Garaged all the time with me

Recent work in the last 2 years, including:

  • Brake system overhaul and new parts
  • 4 new tyres
  • Service
  • Water pump
  • Carb repairs and cleaning, totalling over £2,000

Welcome to our July/August Auction!

The viewing period for this auction is Wednesday 23 July 2025 - Tuesday 29 July 2025. 

Prospective buyers are encouraged to view specific lots pre-auction and inspect paperwork if available.

The entrance fee is £5 per person during the viewing periods at our Pickering branch. 
This forms part of our annual fundraising to help local and national charities chosen by us.
 
Each auction throughout the year will witness a collection / donation.
