The vendor has provided the following:

  • 1973 Greeves Griffon 250 Scrambler
  • Unregistered
  • Frame number 56E 363
  • Engine number GPF1/368
  • 2-stroke premix off-road synthetic oil
  • Gearbox number GB1/828
  • Ceriani forks, Reynolds frame, conical hubs
  • One owner since 1977- see file “potted history”
  • Rebuilt and prepared by TDS Services in 2008
  • Bill of works invoice £ 2k – see file
  • Raced gently a few times in Pre 65 2008/9 seasons
  • Laid up in garage storage since
  • Maintained serviceable
  • Ideal to display or ride in period off-road events
  • Hard to imagine a better example
  • The bike runs on 32:1 2-stroke premix off-road synthetic oil, which is in the tank. It has never been tuned to run on Castor-based racing oil, as the video hinted
