The vendor has provided the model of the vehicle to be a 1961 Austin Mini. Please confirm upon your own inspection.

The vendor has provided the following:

  • Austin Mini Rally Car
  • LSK 368
  • 1961 Austin Mini Rally Car
  • Listed on the logbook as an 850 but I understand the engine is a 1275.
  • The previous owner also told me it has a kent cam 276 and the cylinder head is from a Cooper S, although I have no way of confirming this.
  • The car has been stored for the past few years but has been turned over regularly but obviously it will need going through and recommissioning.
  • The engine is a little smokey so would suggest a rebuild would be advisable
  • Ideal for use as a historic road rally car, hill climb, targa or just for a fun road car

Welcome to our February Auction!

The viewing period for this auction is Wednesday 28 January 2026 - Tuesday 3 February 2026. 

Prospective buyers are encouraged to view specific lots pre-auction and inspect paperwork if available.

The entrance fee is £5 per person during the viewing periods at our Pickering branch. 
This forms part of our annual fundraising to help local and national charities chosen by us.
 
Each auction throughout the year will witness a collection / donation.
