The vendor has used the lift for his disabled son, so presume that is works.
Coach built on a brand new long wheelbase Mercedes turbo diesel chassis in 2006 by Event Homes Ltd as a fully adapted vehicle for a disabled wheelchair user. The adaption includes double width side entry door with Ricon hydraulic lift to carry wheelchair and passenger up to entry floor level. Wide internal gangway settee converts to double bed, second double over cab, dinette converts to single bed, plus further single bed with overhear Robin hoist to lift person from bed to wheelchair, the ceiling track runs also to the wet room which is of super spacious proportions to include shower, wc and basin (this is a full wet room) which is used with shower/wc wheelchair. There is an onboard generator plus ceiling aircon, gas central heating, full size fridge/freezer full oven with hob and sink unit. Plenty of storage cupboards drawers and wardrobe. The vehicle is fitted with a self seeking satellite dish and two TV points with swivelling TV wall mountings although new TV's will be required. The engine has a "Jake Brake" for hill descents, air brakes, 4 hydraulic levelling jacks, electric windows mirrors and power steering. The cost new in 2006 was approx £140.000 (probably 200k + today) The vehicle is 7490 kg gross so can be driven on a car licence by anyone who passed their test prior to 1997.
