Current V5 present. Paperwork includes an extensive box of paperwork that includes MOT certificates, previous motor insurance, a previous V5, BL Cars Limited Service Product training - training workbook, vehicle wiring products catalogue, Holley Carburettor Handbook, Owner's Club information, a printed Build manual for the NG TC, TD and TF range of cars, an MG B workshop manual, a Tuning Rover V8 engines book by David Hardcastle, two spare parts catalogue, a photo album containing photographs of the vehicle, and an extensive amount of receipts for parts and work.

The vendor has provided the following:

  • Built by myself between 1998/2002.
  • MOT until June 2025
  • Comes with all receipts,
  • original build manual
  • Rover MGB manuals
  • photographic history of the build
  • MG running gear and a Rover V8 engine with 5 5-speed LT77 gearbox
  • The engine bottom end was rebuilt by J E Engineering
  • A new clutch driven and friction plate was installed during the build
  • There is a large lot of spares included.
  • Use E-5 Petrol
  • Use the Castrol valve master plus each fill-up
  • Oil filter - Fram PH43
  • Use Castrol or Duckhams 20-50 oil
  • Do not rev over 3,000 until the engine is up to temperature
  • Tyre pressure 28lbs
  • The fuel gauge is not reading correctly, the float in the tank needs adjusting. Set the tripometer to zero on fill-up and refill at 160 miles.
  • Careful when opening the bonnet of headlamps, there is a slight oil leak when hot from the oil pressure sender/oil pump connection.
In the last thousand miles, a new Kent fast road cam has been fitted along with new timing gears and chain, cam followers. During the same period a new electronic distributor, uprated coil and alternator along with plugs and leads were fitted. A holly 390cfm carb sits on the top. Oil and filter are changed every Spring or 1,000 miles whichever comes first.
There is an oil cooler fitted horizontally with a fabricated air scoop.
Front suspension is uprated along with all bushes. The rear is adjustable Spax. Front callipers are 4-pot Rover SD1 Vitesse. Rear are MGB drums. Wire wheels are MGC 15" with Firestone Fire Hawkes
