Current V5 present. Paperwork includes previous V5s, MOT certificates, a V11 tax reminder, a Declaration of exemption from MOT, Owner's Club correspondence, British Motor Industry Heritage Trust correspondence, printed production data for the vehicle, previous motor insurance documentation, and various invoices for parts and work.

The vendor has provided the following:

The car is rated as a historic vehicle and is exempt MOT, and has a road tax rating as zero, £0:00
It has not been on the road since before COVID. It has lived outside on the driveway but has always been covered with a storm proof cover. It needs to be recommissioned properly to bring it back to A1 condition.
It should be noted that, at the moment the clutch is solid and needs attention before driving
Below is a list of the work which has been done by me since I bought it.
The car was built in 1974, to the original LH drive spec used for cars imported to the USA. It was reimported to the UK in 1991, and converted to RH drive at that time.
The following is a list of the main work carried out on the car since I purchased it in 2004. It is not a complete list of all things done, but merely a list of the most important jobs.
The rear outer wing panels and door skins have been replaced with reproduction panels. The boot lid has also been replaced.
The body colour has been changed to Silver-Grey metallic, the colour chosen from BMW-Mini colour range Silver-Grey, paint code A08. Unfortunately the chosen body shop went into liquidation before the job was fully finished evidenced by some reaction in the paint on the top of the front offside wing. This has remained unchanged since carried out in 2012/2013. There is some slight rusting in the top seam of the rear offside wing.
The hood has been changed to red, using a second hand hood in excellent condition with very little wear and tear
The interior trim colour has been changed to red using new trim panels in red, and new carpets in red
The seats have been completely stripped and rebuilt using new foam cushions and new webbing and diaphragms. The seats then covered in red leather. Note that the seats are the original high back seats fitted in USA spec
A new wood finish dash panel has been fitted
The engine has been completely rebuilt, with new pistons and rebored. Cylinder head replaced with a new higher compression unit. Cam shaft replaced with a second hand unit from a 125 bhp fuel injection model.
The original Stromberg carburettors have been replaced with almost new Twin SU-HS6 carburettors with very little mileage
Electronic ignition has been fitted
The gear box has been replaced with a second hand J-type overdrive unit, sourced from a saloon car. The input shaft being replaced by the heavier shaft used in the TR range
The rear suspension has been modified, the original rocker type damper system being replaced with a new telescopic system using adjustable shock absorbers
The steering rack has been replaced with a new unit
The exhaust system has been replaced with a Stainless Steel system
The wheels have been replaced with new mini-lite replica alloys with new tyres
