The vehicle was driven here by the vendor.

The vendor has provided the following:

First registered 10/05/1955 V5 present (non transferable registration mark)
I have owned it since 06/10/2011
The engine is a two and a quarter litre petrol 4 speed box with series two axles.
The Landrover underwent a comprehensive restoration when I acquired it when it was fully dismantled and the following work done.
Engine head removed internals checked and de-coked
clutch replaced
Chassis painted and waxoiled
new springs and gas shock absorbers all round
new steering balls
new Autosparks wiring loom and Bouyer Branson electronic ignition unit
new hoops and canvas top
seats recovered
all galvanized parts are re-galvanised apart from the tub cappings.
Body panels re-painted
The Landrover has always been garaged when not in use.
In short anything that needed replacing was replaced with genuine parts where possible.
It comes with complete door tops in good condition (not shown in these photos) and a spare wheel.
I can't guarantee the mileage, and I appreciate that neither the engine or Sage Green colour are correct for the year, but that is the colour it came in so we kept it.I think the term is a "bitsa"
All the mechanical work was done by a qualified mechanic, it was actually featured in issue number 4 of Classic Landrover September 2013.
