The vendor has provided the model of the vehicle to be a 1954 ARMSTRONG SIDDELEY SAPPHIRE 346, please confirm upon your own inspection.
The vendor has provided the following:
The Armstrong Siddeley Sapphire 346 was produced from 1952 to 1958 when it was replaced by the Star.
This is a Mark 2, automatic version of the Sapphire 346 and was built on 14 December 1954. The car has almost come home for this auction. As it sits in Pickering, it is just 80 miles from the showroom of Reah Brothers, the Armstrong Siddeley Dealership in New Bridge Street, Newcastle upon Tyne, who sold the vehicle on 3 January 1955 to The Yorkshire Electric Detonators Company. The previous owner to me reimported the car from Romania in 2015.
It then had a full brake system overhaul, including master cylinder, wheel cylinders and service followed by fitting of stainless steel bumpers. It has been owned by me for just under 10 years now.
Much has been done to the car while it has been with me including ;
