The vendor has provided the following:
1979 GMC Van Dura Coachman. This is a left-hand drive vehicle imported to the UK in August 1980 from, it is believed, Canada. Two owners since then with approx. 33,000 miles only. Has been off the road since 2013. It has a sliding side door and two rear opening doors as well as the normal driver and passenger doors. Body wise there is some rust scabbing but no major rot and the chassis and underside look clean and solid. Slight perforation in the lower part of the driver's door and the battery tray requires some welding. All the trim appears intact although the headlight surround has suffered some damage and would need repair/replacement. Mechanically the engine runs and the three-speed transmission works as do the brakes. However, all would require a full service and fluid change to recommission. The exhaust is a standard one with no CAT. The tyres, whilst being good tread-wise, are at least ten years old so would also require replacement. The interior features 4 Captain's seats and a fold-down sofa which can be used as a bed. The seats require full retrim and no doubt the rest of the interior could be done at the same time. This is a great project vehicle that doesn't require too much work and would be fairly unique in the UK once finished.
