Current V5 present. Paperwork includes a wallet containing owners manuals including a service record booklet with 19 stamps, a radio cassette Owners Guide and a folder with vehicle information including Invoices and MOT certificates.

The vendor has provided the following:

  • 1993 XJS 4.0 Sportline
  • Recently back on the road and in average condition cosmetically - has had a respray in the past, but not the best quality, and some paint chips here and there
  • However, no major rust is coming through, and only very small bubbling in a few isolated areas. A "ten-foot" car. Rear sills and suspension points have been welded, and the car undersealed with bills and pictures to prove
  • Interior has wear consummate with age (including wear to the door veneers, but the main dash is better), although the radio signal can be poor
  • Mechanically good (new hoses in the last year - no leaks!!), starts every time, pulls very well through the gears with good kickdown in "S"
  • Has been driven several hundred miles since being off the road and either garaged or covered when not in use
  • Known issues - The driver's door lock is not functioning, and the temperature gauge works sporadically. However, the car does suffer from overheating and is happy in traffic and hot weather
  • Ready to drive away, and a very good basis for improvement
