Current V5 present. Paperwork includes an Owner's Handbook, MOT certificates, some printed history about the vehicle, promotional material, a Lubrication chart, some Microfiche slides, copies of old tax discs, a Haynes Owner's Workshop Manual, a The Capri Club magazine, and invoices.

The vendor has provided the following:

  • Ford Capri Mk1 3000E
  • Built Dec 1969, first registered May 1970
  • Rick Wood's engine rebuild topped with triples
  • Output circa 240/280 with tuned exhaust, limited-slip differential, cost circa £20k
  • The engine covered around 1000 miles, suspension and running gear around 2/3000 miles
  • Family is the 3rd owner, owned for the last 43 years, and retained in a heated garage
  • Insured at 25k pre-engine work
  • All original engine top end available with the car, likewise tuned exhaust, will require shipping by the buyer
  • Slight paint defect on the offside due to the rope rubbing through transportation

  • by 5pm on Wednesday before the auction for lots going through on Thursday
  • by 5pm on Thursday before the auction for lots going through on Friday

Welcome to our November Auction!

The viewing period for this auction is Wednesday 5 November 2025 - Tuesday 11 November 2025. 

Prospective buyers are encouraged to view specific lots pre-auction and inspect paperwork if available.

The entrance fee is £5 per person during the viewing periods at our Pickering branch. 
This forms part of our annual fundraising to help local and national charities chosen by us.
 
Each auction throughout the year will witness a collection / donation.
