Paperwork includes a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Production record Trace Certificate, a printed engine report from December 2022, two Operating Maintenance and Service Handbook, a Specialist vehicle policy document booklet, previous V5s, MOT certificates, previous motor insurance documents, and various invoices for parts and work.

The vendor has provided the following:

In the history file of the v12 E-Type is an interesting letter of correspondence from the gentleman who purchased the vehicle in 1994.

He bought the vehicle from the actor Bill Maynard, Star of Heatbeat plus various other film and TV credits.

Mr Maynard informed him that the car had previously belonged to his wife Tonia Bern who lived in Palm Springs America, who had been married to the late Donald Campbell CBE who unfortunately lost his life on Lake Coniston attempting a world speed record in Bluebird in 1967.

Also, in the letter it states that the E-Type was converted to RHD in 1995.

Other paperwork includes Major engine service and engine tuning carried out in December 2022 with a full specialist engine report costing £4,000 plus old MOTs, a Jaguar Heritage certificate, various receipts for parts, and 2 handbooks.

The Heritage certificate, dated 1988, states the vehicle was manufactured on 16/10/1972 and dispatched to British Leyland New York on 15/12/1972 in white with a dark blue interior.

The E-Type has been in dry storage for several years.

Reluctantly selling due to lack of use.
