The vendor has provided the following:

My father first owned the Jaguar around 1982 (we think) he then sold it but repurchased it in 1984.

I bought it from him in 1985 and used it for a while. It was too big for my wife to drive so I bought a smaller car and put the Jaguar into storage intending to restore it to its former glory. However, having had my own business, I never got around to it but always tried to keep it in good condition. It has been kept, covered, in my heated garage for the last 38 years.

I am only selling now as I am downsizing to a bungalow with a smaller garage.
