The vendor has provided the model of the vehicle to be a Jaguar 3.4 Mk 1, please confirm upon your own inspection.

The vendor has provided the following:

1958 Pearl Grey Jaguar 3.4 (Mk 1) with factory fitted Dunlop disc brakes and overdrive.

  • This original car takes some inspiration from the Coombs Pearl Grey car and sports brand new competition specification wire wheels as Jaguar would have fitted in period to the 3.4 (Mk 1) Jaguar “S-spec” saloons
  • Upgraded with a Mk 2 front subframe and coupled with the wider wheels
  • Wider competition rear wheels provide a wider track on the original axle, hence the Coombs-style spats to allow for clearance
  • The standard spec original spats come with the sale
  • She feels very planted on the road with no undue noises. The cooling system has been completely reconditioned with a new radiator core, new hoses all around, refurbished cooling pipes, and a new electric fan using a switch on the dash
  • Ken Jenkins has fitted a 123 ignition distributor, and with the car being negative earth, we have fitted a Powerlite Dynalite (an alternator that looks and fits like the original dynamo). The propshaft looks new after being balanced and reconditioned, and front and rear windscreen rubbers have been renewed and fit perfectly
  • The carburetors, inlet manifold, and air intake horn have been beautifully refurbished by David Longsdale
  • She is running with SU carburetor intake stacks, but the original air silencer and oil bath filtration system all come with the sale
  • She has passed her MOT with no advisories, and I have just installed a brand-new Lucas battery
  • A very large history file accompanies the car, documenting every little detail, which includes all receipts for previous works in the UK and history from New Zealand, which confirms its current mileage of 130,000

  • 2019 Steering Wheel Refurbishment
