The vendor has provided the following:
The previous owner bought the Rover to be an Executive Tour Car for London, offering tours around the major sites for private parties.
In doing so, he added seat belts to the car so that all would be safe and comply with legal requirements for tour vehicles. He also restored the leather seats in the car.
As a business this did not take off and the car was never used as a tour vehicle.
In addition, the owner fitted a Kenlowe electric fan to help with any potential overheating. The fan can be activated manually from a switch under the steering column next to the fuel reserve switch.
He also said that the Reserve Fuel switch had been by-passed and no longer worked. He suggested that the car be fuelled when the fuel gage gets to about a quarter full to ensure plenty in the tank (so far, a suggestion I have followed)
My Ownership
I purchased the car on the July 2020 and looked to use the car as a classic car for my own pleasure and use on a regular basis and in addition maybe attend some car shows.
In the process of looking after the car I have:
The car runs on Unleaded petrol (E5) and does not need any additives to be added as a lead replacement.
