Current V5 present. Paperwork includes a scanned copy of a V5, MOT certificates, V11 tax reminders, printed photographs of the vehicle, an Instruction book, braking system instructions, and various invoices.

The vendor has provided the model of the vehicle to be a Ford V8 Pilot, please confirm upon your own inspection.

The vendor has provided the following:

I purchased the above in December 2021 and have photographs of the restoration and the subsequent rebuild as well as a couple of the car prior to the body off and chassis restoration. The car was completely stripped for this and then built back up.

I have no written history of this car prior to my acquisition. However, as I understand it, this car was purchased by my vendor many years ago from a London Garage as a one-owner vehicle purchased from new by the original owner. As can be seen from the photographs, it was in need of a complete rebuild at that time, believed to be the 1990s.

Nothing was done to the car after purchase, merely being dry stored. My vendor was then approached to sell the car by a restorer who was looking for a project, as he had already restored 3 of these models, at least two of which were finished in Essex Blue, the colour of PXS 255.

After completing the restoration, it was sold back to my vendor, who removed the original restoration MOT'd the car and from whom I purchased the car as requiring some recommissioning. This has been done apart from the restored jacking system, and the car has been MOT tested 4 times since 2021 with no advisories... The Smiths jacking system has been completely rebuilt but will require fluid and commissioning...

  • Body off complete chassis restoration and rebuild, detailed digital photographic record

  • New battery fitted 2021
  • Export cooling fan and twin pulley drive
