The vendor has provided the following:

  • This 1987 Ford Fiesta is a unique and heartfelt project car with a story behind it
  • Originally a standard 1.1L Fiesta, the car has undergone a significant transformation into what was set to be a thrilling rally build
  • Most of the hard work has already been done, including the fitting of:
  • A 2.0L Duratec engine from a 2004 Ford ST170
  • An FIA-approved roll cage
  • A new FIA-approved suspension components (springs, coilovers, brakes)
  • A vibrant full respray in yellow was completed in 2023
  • The project was started by the previous owner, a passionate car enthusiast and father to Zak, the current owner
  • Sadly, Zak’s father passed away in July 2023, and although Zak had hoped to finish the build in tribute, it has become too much to take on alone
  • Electrically, the car still needs completing and is not currently roadworthy, but this presents a brilliant opportunity for the right person to carry the baton forward
  • Several additional parts are included to support the completion of the build, along with an extra complete set of wheels
  • This is more than just a project car; it is a labour of love waiting for someone with the vision and passion to bring it to life
  • Whether you are a seasoned rally enthusiast or simply looking for a solid base with quality upgrades already in place, this Fiesta offers enormous potential
  • A rare and meaningful find – ready for the next chapter
  • The fully reconditioned gearbox is made up of an ST170 gearbox & a Limited Slip Differential from a Series One RS Turbo
