The vendor has provided the following:

This Spirit has been part of our family for the past 10 years. In that time we have carefully restored and maintained it and have enjoyed living with this very special car.

Sadly, it’s time for it to have a new home. We are spending much more time in our motorhome now we’ve retired, so we don’t use it as much as we should.

  • With under 40,000 miles on the clock, it is in remarkable condition. As far as it has been possible, we have kept it in authentic 1982 working order. And everything does work, from the split-level climate control, to cruise control, the Blaupunkt radio and the Pioneer cassette player
  • Documentation includes the factory build record, first purchase invoices, MOT’s and full service history, including the original Rolls Royce service record and original handbook.
  • The car comes with the original took kit and personalised number plate.
  • This year it was professionally polished and ceramic coated on the boot, roof and bonnet, a new battery, oil change and we’ve had the coachlines re-hand-painted by a former Rolls Royce craftsman. There is a slight blemish on the offside rear wheel arch and some paint bubbling there, no corrosion evident though.
  • It has been MOT’d each year regardless of its classical car status, the last one being in June this year. Advisories have highlighted slightly cracked sidewalls on the tyres, and worn rear brake discs. So not perfect, but in perfectly usable condition and I think, one of the best original Spirits around.
