Here for sale is my 1966 Morris Minor 1000 Traveller in Almond Green (GN-37) with matching green interior. First registered in July 1966
As a local businessman with a Double Glazing business, I sold Double Glazing to a customer who wanted to have my windows but didn’t have enough money for the deposit. I spied his Traveller and did a deal to take it in part exchange towards the windows!
I acquired the vehicle in March 2000.
Used for local fishing trips with my brother Bill. We used to pack up a picnic basket, visit a local river and lake, pop our rods and the hamper in the back.
We have manually turned over the engine to ensure it’s free and it is. We have put a new Lucas fuel pump on the car. The vehicle has been garaged in my triple garage with woollen blankets over it for the last 23 years.
Loads of spare parts in the boot. A couple of Morris Traveller 1000 Owners Club Magazines from year 2000
We are hoping that the new owner will tidy the vehicle up or use it straight away as a reliable everyday classic and will be proud to show it off at the local village fetes.
