The vendor has provided the following:

  • My Dad's Rover was put in the garage in 1974 when petrol prices went sky high, with all intentions of getting it out, but never happened
  • Dad passed at 92 years old, and you have recently sold his and my mum's Cavalier CDX & SRI
  • My sister & I started a restoration between us a year ago, but sadness fell last July, and she became ill & passed away at the age of 59
  • The car is with a Rover mechanic who has restored Rovers for more than 50 years, but I have sadly decided that I'm finding it pointless to carry on with this just for me & without her
  • I'm hoping that it can be bought by someone who can restore it. If I can see this at a Rover meet ( which are many ) somewhere in a few years, I'd be more than happy to let the pleasure be someone else's
