Current V5 present. Paperwork includes MOT certificates, old tax discs, previous V5s, V11 tax reminders, a book showing some written vehicle history, and various invoices.

The vendor has provided the following:

  • I bought this car in April 2008
  • I have only done around 2,000 miles in the last 17 years of ownership
  • Maintained it, cleaned it, and admired how wonderful it looks
  • Had a new battery again about 3 years ago, now the US disconnected but still in place
  • Garaged most of its life with me
  • Stood for a short period under a carport
  • A squirrel must have gotten in the car through holes in the wings under the engine bay
  • Rectified this with pieces of playwood
  • Anyway could not get it to run with jump start or other battery
  • Looked for the problem and there is damage to the ignition wires under the dashboard, this will require the dash/gauges out, etc
  • Not something I can now do at my age, so I will have to let someone else take charge of this vehicle
  • It has now turned 54 years old, so I think it's time for a rewire
  • Parts will cost about £300
  • This vehicle is now on SORN
