The vendor has provided the following:
Ground up full bare shell rebuild MGB roadster built in 1972 registered in February 1973 in yellow bronze, Reluctant sale as the car is beautiful, following MOT failure in December 2015 full back to bare metal rebuild started in 2016.
An extensive file of photos showing strip down and rebuild. Extensive use of a rotisserie during the strip down and rebuild and dollys for the media blast and paint, the body was stripped media blasted and any rust was cut out and new panels fitted where required she was then wax oiled undersealed, and repainted in yellow bronze, all other components have also been media blasted and then powder coated where possible.
- The engine was rebuilt fully balanced
- Peter Burgess stage 2 head
- Pipe fast road cam
- Side draft weber 45
- Facet fuel pump and regulator
- Aldon race distributor
- Custom stainless exhaust and extractor manifold
- And fully dialed in on rolling road at Aldon
- New clutch
- Gearbox and O/D unit serviced
- Ajustable shocks on the rear
- Uprated lever arms on the front
- Lowered approx 1.5"
- Stiffend all round with polly bushes
- Uprated anti roll bar
- Powder coated parts under car where required
- 15" graphite minilite style wheels with 185/65 yokohama tyres
- Slotted and drilled from disc pads and green brake pads fited
- Spare is the original rostyle with brand new tyre
- Early model dash fitted (toggle switches) proper crackel finish
- All new carpet throughout
- Trim is black with Mazda MX5 seats and heated very comfortable
- Mountney leather steering wheel
- Blue inertia tye seat belts
- Glass is all round nos triplex no scratches
