Museum Visitor Information

 

We’re delighted to welcome visitors to the museum. Please see the information below before your visit:

 

 Opening Times:

Museum

• Monday–Saturday: 9:30am – 4:30pm (last entry around 4pm)
• Sunday: 10:30am – 3:30pm (last entry around 3pm)

Shop

• Monday–Saturday: 9am – 5pm
• Sunday: 10am – 4pm

Please note: during winter months we may close earlier if quiet.

 

Accessibility

Unfortunately, the museum is not wheelchair accessible due to the age and layout of the building.

Access is via 6–7 steps only.

 Pets

Dogs and pets are welcome in the shop, but not inside the museum.

 Bags

Please be mindful of bags around the exhibits. Larger bags can be left safely behind the till if preferred.

 Admission

£2.50 per person.

 Group Visits
For groups of 15 or more, please contact us in advance before visiting.
